"Video unavailable. This content isn't available", How to Fix the YouTube Error
Why you're seeing this
This usually happens because you tried to download videos using your YouTube account by passing cookies to a download tool. Passing your account or cookies is not recommended, it may result in temporary or permanent suspension of your account by YouTube.
How to fix it
- Download without your account/cookies. Don't authenticate the download tool with your YouTube account.
- Stop all requests with that account and wait. Depending on your usage, the limit normally lifts in 1 hour to 7 days. In rare cases it can take longer than 7 days. YouTube can change these limits and suspensions whenever they want.
When you download again
Always add a delay between each download to avoid the risk of rate limiting:

Rate limiting is the most common cause during bulk downloads, but the same "Video unavailable. This content isn't available" message can also mean the video itself can't be served to you:
- Private or deleted. The owner set it to private or removed it — no tool can download it.
- Region-locked. It's blocked in your country; it may work from a different region.
- Age-restricted. These need a signed-in session, which we don't recommend passing to a downloader.
- Members-only or gated. Access is restricted by the channel.
Quick test: if the video plays fine in a normal (signed-out) browser but fails when you download it, it's almost certainly a rate limit, not a dead video.
How long does the block last?
For a rate limit, access usually returns within 1 hour to 7 days after you stop all requests from that account or IP. Light usage clears in hours; heavy scraping can take the full week or, rarely, longer. If the cause is a private, deleted, or region-locked video, the error is permanent for you — waiting won't change it.
